• Each Penguin Cold Cap is made from white medical grade hypo-allergenic polyurethane filled with special formula crylon gel with an insulated blue nylon cover. (See cross section below)

• All materials used in the manufacture of the Penguin Cold Cap are approved by the FDA in the USA.

• The Penguin Cold Cap is made to hospital standards, is non toxic, hypo-allergenic and can be disinfected.

• The Penguin Cold Cap is robust yet always soft and pliable, even at extremely cold temperatures.  Weighing only 1.5kg, the Cap is very comfortable to wear.

• Using Velcro fasteners the Penguin Cold Cap can be adjusted to fit all size of heads. For patients with extra thick hair elastic straps are provided to ensure the Penguin Cold Cap is tight fitting to the scalp.
